You were never there
When I had aches n pain,
My desolate heart cried in vain,
I held my head high and made a stride ,
Felt like, I am enough for myself .
While I sank in abyss so dark,
Dreaded by journey i couldn't embark ,
But then I slept tucking my pillow,
Onto my bosom,
Tears drowning my mute companion .,
I realized, I am enough for myself.
When was exhausted bearing it all,
Thought you would hold me before I fall,
But yes,I fell and got upright on my own,
There wasn't time even to mourn,
Guess I am enough for myself,
No,I am sure I am enough for myself.
